Chelsey Lin
My name's Chelsey, currently being a senior(4th grade) student, majoring in political science in Keio Uniersity here in Tokyo. Before you all ask me, let me tell you about my background. I was born and raised in LA in California, a quarter Taiwanese/Chinese/Japanese/American, moved to Japan four years ago and have been studying at Keio for my entire undergraduate years, and by now, I only have a half more year to go! I'm so delighted to take part in xsel program this summer with you guys, hoping hoping experiences at xsel with you would colour my last student life summer!
Speaking of my interests related to social entrepreneurship, the sessions I've attended at Harvard Business School last year inspired me lots and drove me to aspire to become a social entrepreneur; precisely, the speeches from speakers, who are currently working as social entrepreneurs, were mostly related to non-profit and community building business, and these were so mind-blowing and empowering to the degree I started wondering of myself becoming one of them, so I'm interested in business linked to community and the people. I have lots of things I love, but one of my hobbies is Yoga. After participating in any kind of programs or student conferences, I always figure out that the things I gained or learned were mostly from other participants or people. So I'm excited to get to know every one of you as individuals and am expecting to learn lots from you all throughout upcoming four weeks.
If I had unlimited money.. hmm.. I looove giving presents to people so probably I will get piles of presents without thinking about money and spreading those to my beloved ones!
